My aunt Mary has three different sewing machines. A standard Bernita, a Janome Surger and an embroidery machine. She has easily spent 15,000 on sewing machine alone. I just got a new Brother sewing machine that does embroidery for under 500 dollars. Now yes I know her embroidery machine can do much larger patterns etc. But It has less memory than my Brother and Less memory. Now I know my aunt is into sewing and doing all sorts on her machines way more so than I am with mine. I am just thrilled that I got what I got for the price I paid and it has more features than her older embroidery machine. I found my machine by looking at sewing machine reviews. I found a machine that did embroidery for about the same price as I was going to spend on a machine anyway. So that I could get one that does embroidery was really a bonus.
